Order Cancellations
If for any reason an order needs to be cancelled, please contact SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN by phone on 0452 043 403 as soon as possible.
Cancellations are subject to the following conditions:
Re-Delivery
If a delivery has been attempted unsuccessfully and requires a second or subsequent delivery to be made (eg. You have provided us with an incorrect address) a $12.95 redelivery fee will apply. If SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN is in any way responsible for the redelivery this redelivery fee will not apply.
Once your order is in the hands of our courier we have no way of telling exactly what time it will arrive. To minimize delivery costs to our customers all deliveries are placed with our courier for delivery at a time which fits in with their delivery schedule. With orders going to some locations (where available). As a general rule home deliveries are made between the hours of 7am – 7pm and business deliveries are made between the hours 9am – 5pm. At peak times, like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day these times may be different. SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN can organise same day delivery for flowers order before 2pm Monday to Friday or before 9am on Saturdays.
Once an order has been picked up by our courier we are unable to know exactly what time your order will be delivered. As such we are not normally able to advise you as soon as the delivery has been made. Usually though you will get a call from one very happy recipient of the flowers as soon as they get the chance.
If nobody is home our courier will usually leave your gift in a safe location (only if it is deemed safe to do so). If this is not possible a delivery notice will be left in the mail box with further instructions about how to collect the gift
You are welcome to make changes to your order at any time by calling us only, up until it has left our store with the courier. However, once your order has left with our courier there is no way to retrieve it and as such no modifications are possible.

The team at Samantha’s Flowers by Design continues to closely monitor the spread of COVID-19 and we are continually adapting our operations and business practices to support and reinforce many of the policies that have been enacted by government and health officials.
Our current priority is to the health, safety and well-being of both our customers and our team. Based on the advice of the World Health Organisation and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer we have implemented the following:

Flower supply issues mean that some varieties are simply not available, and our prices have been increased.
Due to flower supply challenges, it may be necessary to substitute some or all flowers in your order, so we will use the freshest ingredients available on the day.

SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN goes to great lengths to ensure that what you see on our website is what your recipient gets. There are times however when this is impossible due to various factors including local availability and seasonal variations. Rather than reducing our product range down to the lowest common denominator we utilise an equitable substitution policy.
If an item is unavailable we will substitute it with another item of similar design, colour, quality and price.
For example, if a type of flower is out of season we will substitute it with a similar flower with regard to appearance, colour and price.
Flower Longevity
Roses, Tulips, lillies and some other flowers may arrive closed to prolong their life and protect them in transit.
Flowers should last between 3-7 days, ensuring they have water supply and are not exposed to elements such as heat.
SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN are committed to providing the best quality flowers and the finest designs. We understand that the orders you request are very important and should be delivered to the recipient to your direct specifications.
However, there may be occasions where you have concerns regarding your order. If this were to occur, your happiness is our top priority and so we back every order with our 100% Happiness Guarantee so that you can shop with confidence. If the complaint is for quality reasons, we do request that a photograph of the delivered flowers is submitted to us.
It is a general rule of thumb that fresh flowers should last between 3-7 days, and dried flowers last up to 2 years. It is suggested that you ensure your fresh flowers get water and are not exposed to elements such as heat in order to prolong their lifespan.
Please keep any flowers you are not happy with as we may need to have them returned to the florist to assess any problems.
While we always strive to make sure your order arrives in top condition, SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN cannot take responsibility for events outside of our control, such as severe weather conditions. In the case of heat and extreme weather if no one is home at the time of delivery and permission is given to leave flowers unattended, SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage.

If we require you to return goods to SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN, we will arrange for the return shipping costs to be paid by ourselves.

Refunds
Any refunds for online or over the phone orders will be processed immediately and are credited back to the original credit card on which the order was purchased. It may take approximately 5-7 business days for this to show on your statement.
SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN deliver flowers and gifts to Brisbane Northside from anywhere in the world.
The delivery fee will be added to your order during the checkout process and the price you pay can be determined by the delivery postcode you enter on the CART PAGE, the time in which you need it delivered and the type of gift (flowers, hampers, balloons etc).
SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN does not deliver on Sundays, unless it is Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day.
SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN does not deliver on National Public Holidays. Orders placed for these days will be delivered on the next business day.
SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN will attempt to deliver on State or Local Public Holidays where possible.

For speciality orders – eg. hampers, personalised balloons, personalised gifts and posted items, we need a little more time to arrange your special gift. For these, please allow 24 hours, as these will be next business day delivery.
For dried blooms orders – we need 48 hours to arrange for you, these will be delivered on the next delivery date after 48 hours.
Funerals
We understand that when it comes to an occasion such as a funeral, your floral arrangement needs to be delivered at a specific time. When placing an order for a funeral you will be asked for the time of the funeral. If you are uncertain we can find out for you by contacting the funeral home in advance.
All Other Occasions
Please note, we are unable to guarantee delivery at specific hours of the day. Remember, if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact SAMANTHAS FLOWERS BY DESIGN directly.
