At Samantha’s Flowers ft Gmah’s Balloons, we specialise in creating natural, seasonal, and textured floral designs that are full of colour and heart. We’re a proud mother-and-daughter team — Michelle and Samantha — bringing creativity, care, and family values to every arrangement and event.

Based on Brisbane’s Northside, we offer a unique blend of bespoke floristry, balloon styling, and party hire services, all thoughtfully crafted in our studio.

Whether you’re planning a wedding, birthday, funeral, christening, corporate event, or a styled photo shoot, we’re here to bring your vision to life with personalised service and meticulous attention to detail.

🎈 Our balloon décor for parties, functions, and events is bold, fun, and expertly styled — earning us a reputation for being one of the most trusted event stylists in the area.

🌿 Exciting Update: Our Florist Shop Has Relocated!
We’re thrilled to share that the florist side of our business has relocated to 550 Morayfield Road, Burpengary. This move allows Samantha to design her florals from home — with her little ones playing nearby and the freedom to grow fresh blooms on-site!

In just a few months, up to 70% of our flowers will be hand-picked straight from Sam’s garden and included in your bouquets — meaning fresher florals and stronger support for our local agriculture industry. 🌸

💙 The balloons and event hire side of our business continues to be run by Michelle in Kallangur, giving both sides of the business the space they need to grow.

Combatting the Coronavirus

In light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we would like keep you updated about what we are doing in response to this challenging and unprecedented situation.

Combatting the Coronavirus:
We are in unprecedented times. As we are all aware the news and impacts of COVID-19 are very fluid and changing daily. We know that the coronavirus is causing disruption and anxiety, not just for the economy and the community, but for you personally.
The team at Samantha’s Flowers by Design continues to closely monitor the spread of COVID-19 and we are continually adapting our operations and business practices to support and reinforce many of the policies that have been enacted by government and health officials.

Our current priority is to the health, safety and well-being of both our customers and our team. Based on the advice of the World Health Organisation and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer we have implemented the following:

Precautionary Measures:
• We have re-trained all our team members on increased hygiene standards
• Limited personal proximity measures
• Appropriate quarantine for any staff & drivers returning from travel, or experiencing any flu like symptoms.

Flower Supply:
Flower supply issues mean that some varieties are simply not available, and our prices have been increased.
Due to flower supply challenges, it may be necessary to substitute some or all flowers in your order, so we will use the freshest ingredients available on the day.

Inline with the Social Distancing Guidlines:

Deliveries:
We are currently experiencing increased demand for many blooms, balloons and hamper orders, and our team continue to work tirelessly to fulfil orders, and at present we are still offering our same day delivery for the Moreton Bay Region.

Contact-Free Delivery
Limiting contact when delivering orders to recipients will help keep everyone healthy.

Home deliveries:

Our couriers will knock so as to announce their arrival.
Our couriers will leave the flowers on the doorstep if safe to do so.
Our couriers will wait for up to two minutes so as to greet the recipient at a safe distance of at least 1 meter from the door.

All other delivery locations:
Deliveries to a Business, School, Hospital, Aged Care Facility and all other location types will be left at reception, if applicable.

By implementing this change we are acting to ensure that we minimise transmission as much as possible, protecting our couriers and the people they deliver to, while still continuing to deliver beautiful flower arrangements to Australians.

Customer Special Instructions:
Further to this, Samantha’s Flowers by Design is also encouraging customers to add special delivery instructions that may assist with a successful and safe delivery.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and will continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on the advice of health authorities.
