About Samantha’s Flowers ft G’mah’s Balloons

Hey, it’s Sam.

Samantha’s Flowers ft G’mah’s Balloons is a mum and daughter business, created by me, Sam, and my mum, Michelle.

Together, we love helping people celebrate, remember, surprise and spoil the people they care about most — whether that’s with fresh flowers, personalised balloons, event styling or something a little bit special for the day.

Our florist studio has recently relocated to Rocksberg, where I create fresh flower arrangements for birthdays, sympathy flowers, celebrations, thank-you gifts, just-because moments and everything in between.

Michelle looks after our balloons, event hire and styling, which are still based in Kallangur. From personalised balloons and balloon bouquets to party pieces, hire items and event setups, she helps bring those extra special details together for birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, celebrations and more.

Everything we create is made with care, attention to detail and a whole lot of heart.

From flowers to balloons and event hire, we’re so grateful to be part of your special moments across Moreton Bay, Brisbane Northside, Bribie Island and surrounding areas.

Combatting the Coronavirus

In light of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we would like keep you updated about what we are doing in response to this challenging and unprecedented situation.

Combatting the Coronavirus:
We are in unprecedented times. As we are all aware the news and impacts of COVID-19 are very fluid and changing daily. We know that the coronavirus is causing disruption and anxiety, not just for the economy and the community, but for you personally.
The team at Samantha’s Flowers by Design continues to closely monitor the spread of COVID-19 and we are continually adapting our operations and business practices to support and reinforce many of the policies that have been enacted by government and health officials.

Our current priority is to the health, safety and well-being of both our customers and our team. Based on the advice of the World Health Organisation and Australia’s Chief Medical Officer we have implemented the following:

Precautionary Measures:
• We have re-trained all our team members on increased hygiene standards
• Limited personal proximity measures
• Appropriate quarantine for any staff & drivers returning from travel, or experiencing any flu like symptoms.

Flower Supply:
Flower supply issues mean that some varieties are simply not available, and our prices have been increased.
Due to flower supply challenges, it may be necessary to substitute some or all flowers in your order, so we will use the freshest ingredients available on the day.

Inline with the Social Distancing Guidlines:

Deliveries:
We are currently experiencing increased demand for many blooms, balloons and hamper orders, and our team continue to work tirelessly to fulfil orders, and at present we are still offering our same day delivery for the Moreton Bay Region.

Contact-Free Delivery
Limiting contact when delivering orders to recipients will help keep everyone healthy.

Home deliveries:

Our couriers will knock so as to announce their arrival.
Our couriers will leave the flowers on the doorstep if safe to do so.
Our couriers will wait for up to two minutes so as to greet the recipient at a safe distance of at least 1 meter from the door.

All other delivery locations:
Deliveries to a Business, School, Hospital, Aged Care Facility and all other location types will be left at reception, if applicable.

By implementing this change we are acting to ensure that we minimise transmission as much as possible, protecting our couriers and the people they deliver to, while still continuing to deliver beautiful flower arrangements to Australians.

Customer Special Instructions:
Further to this, Samantha’s Flowers by Design is also encouraging customers to add special delivery instructions that may assist with a successful and safe delivery.

We appreciate your patience and understanding and will continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on the advice of health authorities.
